Consumers can request this addition to GIA’s current emerald report, which contains stone identification and lists the diploma of filler throughout the emerald.
If filler is present, the identification could be listed on the report as considered one of many following: “Filler Sort: A (may embrace oil, wax and/or pure resin),” “Filler Sort: B (artificial resin),” or “The readability enhancing supplies present cannot presently be acknowledged.”
The service will initially be equipped at no cost, GIA talked about.
